In the summer of 2020 I will be completing a NSF REU internship virtually through the Hatfield Marine Science center. I will be conducting research assessing how the caloric density of primary prey species varies with changes in climate.
Additionally, I have been working on a project examining the functional morphology of the skulls of Neotropical herbivorous fishes called pacu with researchers from Friday Harbor Labs. I will be spending the Fall of 2020 taking courses and living at FHL.
I am planning to finish my undergrad in the Winter of 2021, and I will be continuing as a student worker in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences.
I am in the process of narrowing down where I would like to apply to graduate school, and I am hoping to be admitted to a PhD program in the fall of 2021 so that I can study marine animal physiology.
